My friend insisted in sending me my birthday present a bit early because it contained some perishables. He’s very easy to read so I was able to guess what he was going to send me. But I didn’t tell him anyway because I did not want to spoil anything. Lol. He sent me a fountain pen set, a fountain pen ink, and a spoon.

I’ve been eyeing this pen for quite some time but didn’t place an order because I had decided to save money for other stuff. I was delighted to see this in the birthday package that my friend sent. The set comes with an eyedropper and cartridge inks.

The cap of the pen can be unscrewed and screwed back to the end of the pen to extend the length. It’s designed to be really compact so you can bring it anywhere. The length is the width of a credit card.

I absolutely love the transparent body with swirls as you can see the ink inside it (if you put it in directly to the body).

The ink was not actually included in his birthday package because he wasn’t sure what color or brand I wanted. So he placed an extra order for the ink after he managed to get my preferences out lol. The ink is by the famous stationery company Pilot. It’s under the iroshizuku ink series. I’m normally not a fan of blue ink, but this one’s so pretty.

The last item was a golden spoon. I originally only bought the fork because it was on discount last year. I bought just because it was pretty (but the price wasn’t the friendliest thing on earth for a cutlery). I didn’t get the spoon at that time because it wasn’t on discount. So this time my friend decided to get the spoon for me so I have a complete set haha.
I’ve never received this many presents from a friend just for a birthday so I’m really delighted with what I got this time. It’s kinda sad that we live far apart and that the pandemic is ruining everything. If it weren’t for that, I would’ve definitely invited him and my circle of friends for some kind of birthday dinner!
