Brain fog

I haven’t been feeling well these past few days. I sleep 8 hours a day, eat three meals a day, go out and have a walk almost daily, but for some reason I’ve just been experiencing brain fogs and headaches. I spent some days only to end up not knowing what I did. It’s as if my brain was on autopilot mode, while my consciousness was drifting somewhere else. I’m doing something but my mind was not focused on the activity at all.

The headache has been quite persistent. I thought it was my pollen allergy, but I’ve been drinking my allergy meds without missing a day. Yet, the pain never subsided so I took a painkiller. It got better for half a day, but the pain came back haunting again the next day. Perhaps it’s just my body reacting to the change of seasons. The temperature hasn’t been fluctuating much, but rain seems to be more frequent as of lately.

I’m starting to wonder that maybe the cause was not physical but mental.

So, getting older isn’t much fun, but your constant headaches are indeed from the rain! It’s actually the pressure of it wanting to rain/stopping. Mental fogginess could be part of your headache. If you haven’t experience migraines, well, this could be the start. My headaches turned into migraines and now I suffer from complex migraines which are scary (it blurs your vision in a weird way. You can see bits and pieces, but not everything. I get them pretty bad during the summer).

I still think your vitamin D is low. I would highly recommend trying vitamin D pills for a month and see how you’re feeling. It can help with brain fogginess and has other benefits. And I recommend taking vitamin b12 for a month too for an energy boost.

I’m jelly where you live. It’s already 32℃ and there hasn’t been any rain. We’re in a drought now. I’m actually worried about hurricane season here too. Usually lots of rain means less hurricanes, but no rain… I’m scared it’s going to be worse than last year. However, we do have a place to go to now.

Wow. Getting old is not … fun. Makes me think what actually makes aging a good thing.

I’ve experienced migraines when it gets really bad, but not to the point of it blurring visions. I hope it doesn’t get any worse … I’ll try buying a pack of vitamin Ds then. I used to have them but they expired (I just keep forgetting to drink them).

We’re going to enter the rainy season soon. And the typhoon season will follow after. Not sure how bad it’s going to get this year, but the trend is that it gets worse each year haha.

Aging is not fun. You get aches in places you don’t expect it. Just standing up could hurt. lol My poor knees aren’t what they’re use to be. It’s hard for me to go up and down the stairs now! I think it’s from standing for 13 years on concrete. It doesn’t sound that long, but wearing improper shoes doesn’t help either. Mostly, I wore out my shoes and wouldn’t buy more until I couldn’t take it any longer. lol Always make sure your shoes are in top shape!

As far as hurricane/typhoon season. I’m terrified! It was terrible last year during Hurricane Milton! I opted to stay in our apartment with our daughter, and I felt like that was the wrong choice. You can hear the shingles being blown off the roof, the trees falling, and other things hitting the windows and roof. I was scared that my car would be heavily damaged, but we got lucky. Other cars parked on the sides and in front of ours. I couldn’t leave, but my car was safe! (It wasn’t even a year old yet the car, and it would be very expensive to repair it).

Anyways, I hope you stay safe during typhoon season!
