Experimenting with new themes

While searching and applying for jobs, I got reminded about my passion for coding. It’s been a while since I created something from scratch and I really struggled trying to get things to work this time haha. It took me two whole days to complete the final look of this. But I’m sure I’m going to make more tweaks here and there as time goes on.

This theme was actually quite similar to the previous one, but tweaked in a way that it’s cleaner and somewhat bigger? Haha. I suddenly miss Serif fonts, which is why I used it as the main family font for this theme. Also, I wanted to add avocado green and salmon pink colors as a shade to this theme, but I didn’t do that for now since I’m too lazy to tweak more styles. Maybe black and white are good enough? Lol.

I originally wanted to make the post format as masonry (like Pinterest posts) but I decided to give up after tweaking with some js and getting frustrated at my own blog for having lots of caches. I guess that project is for another time. I’m just happy that I can make it responsive for both PC and mobile perfectly this time!
