Work hasn’t been the most exciting thing recently. There were so many things that made me irritated from coworkers to suppliers to randomly assigned assignments. But I guess those are the common stuff that is bound to happen when you have human interactions, so it can’t be helped. I really wish I could fix my broken temper, though. I get pissed off so easily (and it 100% shows on my face even with my mask on) that I almost wanted to scream at people and hit punching bags from frustration. My other coworker said it’s important to remember that getting angry is useless and it only wastes my energy, but I can’t help but get angry… I guess I just can’t tolerate dumb stuff and there are too much of that at my workplace right now. Maybe I should try running away and avoiding it before it gets in my vision and ears.
All those frustrating topics aside, my personal life this month was rather exciting because of Splatoon 3. I was really excited for the release that I started the game at midnight the moment it got released. I’d play almost every day with my other gaming friends, and honestly, it’s the only thing that I look forward to each day after I get off work. Other games like Genshin also got a huge update, so most of my weekends were spent to clear out the new contents. I was almost never bored thanks to these wonderful entertainment.

I also picked up a new novel (even though I have so many other books unread) by Nagira Yuu (the same person who wrote Watashi no Utsukushii Niwa) titled 汝、星のごとく (lit. You, like a star).
I … honestly didn’t know what I was getting into. I saw some posts on Instagram that this is Nagira’s newly released book, and the cover looked so pretty that I instantly decided to purchase it. The summary only revealed that this story is about a bittersweet romance. But then the first line in the first page of the book read: “Once a month, my husband goes to see his lover.”
I’ve only finished reading the prologue chapter, and it already left me wondering what on earth happened to the female MC that she’s living her current life. Currently, the book has 4.5 stars rating on Amazon, so it should be quite interesting. I’m a bit scared of what kind of mess I’m gonna plunge into, though. Lol. The book itself is rather thick with 344 pages (and the fonts are small, so it must be more than that if converted to the normal bunko book size) so I’m also unsure if I can finish it at all. But if I do get there, I’ll definitely write and share my impressions here.
For now, I shall play more Splatoon 3 since the time limited festival event is ongoing right now!
